Senator Sam Brownback has just announced today he is forming a "exploratory committee" apparently to uncover whether or not a bid for President is in the cards.

The announcement has been a long time coming for many Kansans who haven't seen a Kansas President since Dwight D. Eisenhower. The true question is whether or not a Republican from Kansas has a hope of getting through the Primaries. Not only that, in the aftermath of this last mid-term election, does a republican have any hope at all of getting into the White House?
