Well, believe it or not, the U.S. (or citizens thereof) have actually given credence to the ridiculous "Open Debate" in Iran by showing up in favor of the talks. Our very own David Duke, famous Imperial Wizard of the KKK and anti, well, everything has shown up in Iran for the "debate" over the reality of the Holocaust. One has to wonder if he showed up in the Middle East WITH his hood and burning Cross?

In case you've been under a rock for the last week or so, Iran has publicly invited anyone and everyone from around the World to discuss whether or not...or rather, the "true" events of the Holocaust during World War II.

Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran has publicly denied that the holocaust even really happened, claiming that it was all a coup by the Western Powers to place the Jews in Israel...come again?

The thought process here is that the Jewish have no right to the Holy Land and that it belongs in the hands of the Muslims. Sounds a bit like the tone of the Crusades, if you ask me. While the Christians were primarily at fault for starting the Crusades, the Muslims eventually managed to take control of the region...they won, in other words, but have never EVER let go of the fact that it happened.

Nevermind that it was instigated by people who's GRANDCHILDREN have been dead for CENTURIES.

The Jewish faith was born in the Middle East. The Children of Abraham...the fact that Ahmadinejad is trying to use history as a method of justifying the "destruction of Israel" is preposterous and hypocritically in the highest sense of the word.

Not to mention he is denouncing a factual series of events in WWII that killed more than 6 million people; saying that it never happened in order to JUSTIFY the of killing 6 million people in Israel (current population stands at 6.1 million).

As I've posted on various other blogs, "who is the more foolish? The fool or the fool who follows him?" Don't worry about this nutbag and his seemingly oblivious denial of cold hard evidence. Worry about the people who start believing him.
