Person of the Year

Just in case you were curious, YOU are Person of the Year, according to TIME Magazine.
In a year of World-Wide strife and conflict, TIME has decided YOU as the person of the Year in 2006. The reason? MySpace, YouTube, Blogs, etc...everyone is collaborating and advancing the World on their own terms.
No longer is the course of Man necessarily directed by those people in power or with the most money or influence.
The Web 2.0 has changed the course of mankind and brought human interaction to a point never before seen.
It's been a good year, all things considered.

Quite a departure from their normal course by looking at the positives! Wasn't Osama considered last year or the year before? I wonder if they still would have made this decision if InstantSpot hadn't been launched this year? ;)
