Mr. Yon's blog is very interesting, and I have been reading it for a while thanks to a client/friend who first alerted me to it.

I'm sorry work is so demanding and glad you are still around! I had been wondering if you might be on a vacation.

What's a vacation?

Linda, things have gotten busy here. That's the way it is. No vacation in the foreseeable future, as we are saving our time for next May to attend the younger daughter's graduation, and to travel around Maine as it is likely the last time we'll be there for a while.
Back to it, I fear. Looks like a good storm has arrived downtown.

It's a noisy storm out here in the near west of the city. Ginger and I walked in sprinkles and cut our walk short because those drops were getting bigger and closer together. We might melt!
Your trip next spring sounds wonderful! What are her plans after graduation?
Wayne and I plan a trip to Boston to see our son, and then we want to rent a car and drive up to Nova Scotia without hurrying. We've never seen Niagara Falls and other wonders we look forward to. Chad tells us we should plan no later than August or early September. We've talked of this trip for a couple of years now; maybe this will be the fall we actually do it. We've done the coastline drive from Boston to about the Maine border (maybe a bit into Maine) but didn't have time to do it right. There are many places inviting you to stop.

Halifax was a really nice city.
I really enjoyed my couple of days there with the Marines.
If you are into Historical fortifications they have a really nice one staffed by those guards who don't move or flinch.
They also had a neat museum about the history of all the ships which have sunk off the coast and the towns history.
I was there in 1998, so I don't have any idea how much of it has changed.
